Why are you here today? As a Kurd from Europé, i stand against the turkish offensive towards Kurdish soil, one of four kurdish parts. We are very sad that parts like Europe and Sweden supports them and betrays us by selling weapons We are also sad that parts like U.S. betrayed the Kurds after everything we, the Kurds, did to defeat ISIS During these times, they are betraying us only too benefit their own interests, leading to the destruction of the kurdish future. I’m here today to tell the world that we are Kurds, we are of one common voice and opinion about the future of Kurdistan And not only now, we know that the Kurdish history goes back for thousands of years. And this is our land and everyone knows that Kurdistan has been separated in four parts. And everyone knows who our occupants are… The Kurdish people has never been a murderous people. We are a people who through dialog want to be able to speak our voice and say that we are Kurds. We want to be able to live as Kurds in peace within our borders. Everybody knows that Turkey always been opposing Kurds and killing Kurds. The Kurdish people have been able to defeat ISIS which is a threat to the world. Europe were afraid of what ISIS did to them and if it wasn’t for the Kurds, the people of Europa wouldn’t have the peace they have today. The Kurdish people are a peace-seeking people.
A people who… …can speak and discuss with every nations of the world and who are not a war-seeking people. We want to have a country, a common voice and one common part instead of four. It’s enough now! Enough of further persecution. We’ve come here today due to the offensive towards the Kurds. Our enemies are not new, we’ve been fighting for about 100 years with our 60 million Kurds who have the right to get their homeland back. 100 years ago, an agreement of a few people parted us in four. Until this day we fight while our enemies are gathering themselves against us with the goal to completly wipe the Kurds from the face of the earth. We are here today to show our solidarity to the Kurdish women’s voices and the kurdish people and also to stand against the invasion of Turkey towards Rojava. Yesterday it happened in Afrin, where they (Turkey) commited things worse than war crimes and today it is happening in Qamislo, east of Furat, In Hasakeh, In Derike, In Amude and it is a people without weapons and ammunition and we have nobody who is backing us up. The enemy is bombing us with warplanes and there is nothing we can do but call for help. We are gathering here today to show people that we are with them. Why are we being killed? What have we done? We are a people who only wants peace. And we want peace for everyone. We are not terrorists and we haven’t attacked anybody and that’s why we want people to help us find a solution. Enough! Enough! Our blood is leaking over the streets. We are here to show our solidarity to our people of Rojava. In Kobani, In Sare Kanye and in Qamislo. Rojava is under attack by the Turkish government, with the dictator Erdogan in the front who kills our people. The people have fled their homes, they live on the streets and on the fields and have no food, water or warmth. Because we are Kurds and we don’t like Erdogan. He is shit. Today we have come to demonstrate for the kurdish people of Rojava. We are aware of what’s going on and of the pain you are going through. We are very sad and the least we can do is this, to show the Swedish parliament that, we Kurds, now need your help. The Kurds over there are still spilling blood, even by innocent children Help us, listen to our cry for help Kurds here has no power but the Swedish people kan affect the Swedish parliament to show solidarity Today, thousands of Kurds are marching, we haven’t slept for days. We don’t know what to do, we can only pray for them and think about them. Long live Kurds and Kurdistan. We are here on this gathering to protest and show our support for Rojava, against the Turkish offensive. The terror-state of Turkey has attacked our people in Rojava, our hearts are burning for them because we can’t do anything. It’s been a few days that we can’t sleep and the least we could do today is to come here and protest and spread We want to tell these people to help us. Help us spread our voice to the UN Security Council and to other countries. It’s enough now. We also want our rights, we also want our country to live in, we also want to speak our own language. It’s very simple things that we demand. We don’t want war, we don’t want death, we only want freedom and that’s it. I’m here to show the Kurdish people that they are not alone in this, and to show that all of this is really bad. What do you want to say to the Swedish government? In no way, Sweden should sell weapons to Turkey or any other country that is occupying other countries. Countries that are ruining families lives Kurds haven’t done anything wrong, for many many years… Kurds have been facing oppression in the hands of arabs, persians and turks. We are a people who have been existing more than these people and who still will exist after these people. They can never exterminate the Kurds. We want to thank the Swedish government for giving us permission to protest today. We also want to thank the journalists and media for reporting about the Turkish offensive. I want to thank them and hope that they will help us and stand with us, Kurds in Rojava. We want the Swedish government to act both by their own but also in cooperation with EU to stop the invasion. I think Sweden should help the Kurds. In which way?
I’m not sure, maybe… They should help us. We want Erdogan to stop his offensive. People are dying, children are dying.. They are dying…
And they are innocent. Children should not be killed just because they are Kurds. It’s his [Erdogan] fault, everything is his fault.
And they [The Kids] deserve a future Its small babies who are dying, families are dying. Mothers are crying when their children are dying. It’s not ok, what he [Erdogan] is doing. The Kurdish people of all Swedish cities urge the Swedish government to not be quiet Listen to what we have to say and act based on it. Help us and send our opinions to the bigger countries who have a direct saying in the conflict of Rojava. Swedish state and government can help the Kurds by putting an end to selling weapons to Turkey. They can also affect other countries to go the same way, and to sharply call on Turkey to stop the offensive. The offensive has made many people flee from Rojava and eventually it will be empty of Kurds Erdogan plans to put Arabs from other areas there instead. There won’t be any Kurds left in Syria. Who will help us get everything back? We want our people to live in peace not killings. Sweden has not done much, they can do more. We don’t want money or weapons, we want to live in peace. What is Sweden’s part in all of this? What I want to say to Sweden is: Stop selling weapons Shut down that selling market, Weapons are being sold to the whole world. Stop it. We know what they [Turkey] were preparing for when buying so much weapons from Sweden. Bullshit, embarrassing. If you have anything to say to the people of Sweden, what would that be? I want to tell them, it’s enough.
Wake up from your dreams, it’s enough. Everyone knows, through internet, even small children knows what Erdogan is doing. Sweden is a country with many immigrants, one of these groups are the Kurds. Kurds have never had any problems here in Sweden. The Kurdish people have always been willing to cooperate with the Swedish people and we have always been getting along with the Swedish people. Now they need to wake up. Nobody dares to higher their voice, every nation in Europe, not only Sweden risks their safety by doing nothing. Since there is thousands of IS-prisoners in Rojava, what would happen if Turkey freed all of them. I hope they defend the Kurds and do something for the Kurds. What do you want to say to the American Government? To the American government i want to ask what Kurds have done wrong? When did we fail you in our duty? The Kurds are peaceful and we know that everything is in your hands, you [superpowers] can decide to stop the offensive and stop the blodshed If they have any interest in Rojava, it shouldn’t be on the cost of babies lifes or kurdish blood. The americans have turned Kurds into a item which they buy and sell several times. Det är civila som drabbas. Donald trump has failed us, Turkey wouldn’t pass the border without Trumps green light. Donald Trump has failed us and we know about this and are not his friends anymore. We have no friends, but the mountains. Och vi kurder i Rojava har knappt berg, marken är väldigt slät, vart ska vi ta vägen? Vart ska vi ta vägen? Till Irakiska Kurdistan? Donald Trump has failed us and we know of it. In a way i can understand it [the choice to leave] but it is still wrong since the Kurds have helped so much vs ISIS. Everyone knew that Turkey would enter if U.S. left but still they choose to leave. Donald Trump made a bad decision when he left Kurdistan and Syria. I have the feeling that Trump is only good for the economy, for his own sake. He only makes a decision for his own sake. Even many of the American people stand against Trump’s decision and thinks that it was wrong. Särskilt Kurderna som kämpat tillsammans med dem. The enemies of Kurds often accuse YPG and PKK of being terrorists, what do you have to say about this? To be honest I’m not very briefed about that situation but what I can say as a Kurd is that the one that fights for Kurdish lands, the one who defends families and homes of Kurdistan are Kurds But regarding the claims of PKK and YPG I’m not very briefed about. What do you feel now that USA have left Rojava? I’m very sad, i wish i was a butterfly who could fly to the kurdish areas and help them take up a weapon and defend my harmless people from dying. What have the innocent Kurdish children there done? I have a bad feeling and we’ve been sad for several days now. We can’t sleep like we used to. We are very sad and we pray to God to stop these murders and wars. We are here to show the world that we are against war and blodsheds. We want our freedom and our rights. We want to speak our language freely, we want to live in our home in peace. Every close to me is now under bombthreats. We are all in the same situation and our hearts are there and burning for our people. r. We are sad, of course we are sad that children are dying, that families are dying. How else should we react? And that some people don’t care just because it’s not their families. But what if it was your family? My dad is there now and it’s war He is with his family and they are older. They need his help in Amude. We are sad since our sisters and brothers and innocent childrens and innocent mothers. Beautiful boys and men, everyone is at risk due to one decision from one man [Trump] who gav Erdogna green light to attack Rojava. Erdogan and Trump will never win Maybe not me but my children and grandchildren will still stand up until the Kurds win this fight. What’s your relation to Kurds? I have many Kurdish friends. That’s where it comes from. I’ve always liked the people.
